Migraines can be debilitating headaches that rob you of your quality of life. Migraine headaches are intensified by the nausea, light sensitivity and vomiting that can accompany them. Affecting 1 out of 8 Americans, the severity of these headaches can vary based on the patient and each occurrence. More often affecting women, the cause of migraines is still mostly unknown. The throbbing pain of a migraine headache is mostly one sided but can move from one side to the other, and it is usually worsened with activity.

Acne is a common problem for teenagers but it can often be bothersome even into the adult years. Acne is a skin condition that occurs when pores in your skin become clogged. Pores in our skin contain a hair follicle and an oil gland, when these glands over-produce oil (sebum), the pores become clogged. Pores can also become clogged with the buildup of sebum, dirt and bacteria.
One of the ways I work with my patients is by helping them reduce the toxic burden on their bodies. This means we support their liver in removing toxins in their system as well as lower the amount of toxins going into their body. A simple way to avoid toxins is by using non-toxic skin care products. After all, our skin is our largest organ, what we apply topically does get absorbed into our bodies.
